| Steps of Change - Salem, Ohio - 2015 In May of 2015, Tyler Bornstein's family, along with some of Tyler Westbury's family, attended the Steps of Change event in Salem, Ohio. We took this opportunity to walk in honor of Tyler and all of those who lost their lives to addiction. We listened to various speakers who came to the event to try to educate families about the disease of addiction. Taylor and Amanda had the opportunity to speak about their brothers and the trials that came along with addiction for the whole family. Tyler's favorite lime green shoes were given to honor him during the memorial presentation. We were saddened to see the vast number of shoes that lined the football field. There were tears, there were hugs, and there was a spirit of determination as we walked for those who no longer could. |
